Our last day was full of exciting events and adventures. The first half of the day was educational; we visited the souks in the Medina and a traditional Moroccan pharmacy. The second half of the day was for leisure. There were three of us who took a trip to Jardin Majorelle Gardens; then we went to a restaurant called Henna Cafe, a place where you can get Henna and some delicious food. Later on that night, we had a farewell dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant - Comptoir Darna. I'd recommend it! It's a unique place where you can see belly dancing, eat traditional food, and enjoy a great atmosphere.
The Medina or the Highlight of Marrakech
One of the most lively places in Marrakech is the Medina. It is a chaotic place; you will see cars, people, horse carriages all in the same location. It is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic center where you can find all sort of goods. Spices, fruits, and veggies, metal fixtures, carpet, jewelry, clothes, the list goes on. The best way to describe it is with pictures.
